Northwest Community Hospital

I came in an ambulance following a seizure. My nurse had no sense of urgency never asked if i wanted any water. I was breathing erratically no oxygen. I told them i felt like i was going to have another seizure the Dr. walked out of the room. When she came back she wanted me to take a head ct after a chest xray. I reluctantly agreed. Oh and when the employees saw my addiction history they asked suicide questions...I was there because of a seizure not an attempted suicide. Oh after i came back from the ct scan, there was a EKG machine sitting in the room. Over a hour goes by she comes back and says she needs the EKG. THEN WHY WAS I SITTING NEXT TO THE MACHINE FOR OVER A HOUR. AT THAT POINT I SAID I WAS LEAVING.

I came into emergency with paralyzed upper arms into shoulders and headache. The nurse was snarky when I asked her to remove the plastic, uncomfortable neck brace. I asked for a soft one, or something under my neck. She said you have to wear it for the scan. I explained that I had had neck surgery and have a plate and screws in the neck, and that I never had to wear that brace for head scans. She walked away aggravated with my response to her demand of wearing it. She then came back and said, "Oh I guess you don't have to. Then I said, "I'm sorry, but I have to urinate, can you help me please?" She said well can't you wait until after the scan? I said no, I really have a full bladder, she said well you'll have to use a bedpan, I said, my arms are weak and feel paralysed, she said well then we'll have to use a catheter. I asked if she could help me onto a camode, she said how can we do that if you feel your arms are paralyzed?...I thought forget it, she is very *** and just wanted to *** and get this all over. She then brought in a rubber device and placed it on *** and said "ok *** I tried, She would give a suggestion of my requests that had alternatives for comfort, after giving me the old fashioned way of using different equipment for peeing/scan with brace on neck...She had no clue. All of her responses were with "well this, or well that". Did she take the oath? Yes, I needed paid med, she gave me a morphine injection into the IV. After a half hour, I still needed something again for the pain. Received nothing. I asked for a full back scan, after the doctor said there was nothing wrong with me?! I felt like he thought I was one of those people who just come in with false symptoms and want pain drugs. They said you can leave now. I asked what the diagnosis was, he said nothing. Well I called my Primary Care doctor and I have to see him Thurs. I never received discharge papers, was told to just go. That there's nothing wrong with me. It's now the next morning and my gait is very wobbly. I can barely walk. Now I have to lose work for 2 days, until my doctor will look over and show me the discharge papers. The hospital should have done the spinal exam with my history of chronic back issues. So here I am not being able to walk properly and if I go back there to NCH, they will tell me there is nothing wrong. I have scoliosis, arthritis, I have osteo, I have spurs on certain vertebra's, and DJD. Very upset and disappointed in the way she, the nurse treated me, I told her to have a better day. The doctor didn't seem that he even cared, just told me to leave.

Sunday morning March the 8th, my wife drove me to the nearest hospital, North west hospital. When I was triage that morning I was asked what was the problem, and I told the triage the problem, and when I was called to the back for ex-rays the nurse asked me is this information correct, and I said no. What is the problem? I didn't come there to look for compassion at all just help! I feel that this complaint should be heard and Fixed!!

Awful Service - I was diagnosed with Breast Cancer. They were so inconsiderate of my feelings, and truly did not care. When I saw the surgeon the nurse kept knocking on the door ever 2 minutes say time. I look at my hubby and he looked at me. And I asked, are you on a quota system here. The nurse was terrible, and very inconsiderate The doctor called on Friday and said, “you have cancer, call this number for an appointment". That's all she said. I called the number and it was that terrible nurse, left a msg. she called back, and said come in on Wednesday here is the directions. I was crying on the phone and she just kept talking. I asked her to e-mail me the info. She e-mailed me a map. No directions, no appointment, no nothing. I had to call back for the information. They even told me the wrong information about my cancer. Wrong size and wrong grade. The nurse had the audacity to ask me in a very mean tone, "What are you afraid of the outcome". My husband just shook his head, as I cried. Later on when I had my biopsy, that nurse went to my husband and said to him, "Is she always like this, she needs to get on something". He told her, what do you think, she has cancer, and how would you react. How dare she tell my husband this when I am having a procedure, and she never showed once ounce of compassion. I called Patient Advocate, as well as the Administrative office, and they are investigating. It should not take that long to investigate that you are clearly a horrible medical institution, and that your staff is horrible. I can't believe I am still waiting for their investigation. I will contact a new station because I want everyone to know that Northwest Community Hospital is not a place to go if you have Breast Cancer. I was unable to submit this review unless I picked a rating. I picked one star, but my rating is 0 starts. STAY AWAY FROM NORTHWEST COMMUNITY HOSPITAL Reason of review: Inconsiderate - knocking on the door while I am with the surgeon telling the doctor to hurry up. Every 2 min. Plus all the other things that happened. Monetary Loss: $1000. Preferred solution: Bills still coming in. I do not want to pay for the service I received. Wrong. I didn't like: Nurse, Staff.

I just had very bad symptoms about heart burn,chilly and dizzy head. Then check-in staffs making me joke and bullied, They're so RACIST for my race, Nurses made made joke then kicked out from hospital, They didn't do anything for my symptoms, I'm still have very bad symptoms,like waiting to die at my home,

This place left me with nothing but lots of stress. They messed up my prescription and will not take responsibility for it when my insurance company showed me the proof in the fax they sent! They are liars and incredibly rude to their customers! Melinda Morales had signed my prescription wrong and did not specify i want name brand only like always. But the office keeps denying it and I have the proof. They are taking advantage of me because I am a young college student. I can't afford this right now. DO NOT COME HERE! They rip you off and are extremely rude! I have been back and forth between them and my insurance company. I have spent 100$ out of pocket because of Morales' mistake! They also put you on hold for 30 minutes and keep saying they need someone to call you back. It is not fair the keep denying it and I cannot do anything about it! And I am not going to go out of my way to get a lawyer and sue them over 100$ but I am about to. This has gone far beyond money. It has been almost 3 months and this is still going on!
